
International Merit Scholarship
The scholarship has been developed to encourage students to embark on a career in the Health and Social Care sector. The scholarship will give candidates who can demonstrate the passion and excellent qualities of a care worker the opportunity to gain qualifications and CQC endorsed training that will assist them in seeking for potential employment or further study. Students cannot work in the UK during this course however, they may approach potential employers for sponsorship under the Health and Care Visa.
The award will cover full tuition fees for one of the following 6 months diploma courses awarded by Stratford College of Business and Management:

Diploma (Level 4 )in Health and Social Care
Location
You'll study from our Telford campus, visa nationals will require a standard visit visa (for study) to attend this course.
Eligibility
There are thirty-six scholarships (in total) available in the Health and Social Care courses specified above.
In order to be eligible for our international merit scholarship you must:

be an international student (excluding EU (or EEA) nationals)
-
starting the course in the 2022/23 academic year
-
meet the normal entry requirements of the course you are applying for.

complete and pass the Health and Social Care Scholarship Test.
How to apply
Complete our online scholarship application form and submit a 500-word supporting statement outlining why you’re suitable for this scholarship. You will also need to submit all supporting documentation / evidence.
Application is free but there is a £35 fee to administer the Health and Social Care Scholarship Test. You would need a copy of your test result to complete the online scholarship application form.

How we assess your application
Your application will be assessed by a panel of SCBM staff. You’ll be ranked based on the details you provide in your application and supporting documentation.
