MA IN HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT

Overview

The objective of the MSc in Human Resource Management degree is to provide learners with the skills and understanding in human resource management (HRM) that align with good strategic decision making to maintain organisations’ competitive advantage.

Learners acquire knowledge through an integrated approach of theory in human resource management and practice using real-time activities. Successful completion of this qualification will develop learners’ strategic human resource management and leadership skills and their ability to focus on the requirements of implementing an organisation’s strategy.

Entry requirements​
​
  • A postgraduate qualification or extensive work experience in a relevant subject.

      AND

  • A bachelor degree or HND or equivalent. Mature learners with extensive management experience may be exempted.

  • Learners must be 21 years or older at the beginning of the course

  • English requirements: If a learner is not from a majority English-speaking country must provide evidence of English language competency.

Duration and delivery
​

The qualification may be completed over a minimum period of 6 months using a blended learning approach. Students will typically complete in 9 months.

Study Online: £5500

Study On Campus (UK / International): £6500

*The fee is reduced by £1200 if a student holds the Qualifi Level 7 Diploma in Human Resource Management.

*Fees are paid in 2 equal instalments

Stage 2:

  • Research Proposal

  • Dissertation 

  • Reflective Paper

Awarding Body

​

Students who successfully complete this programme will receive a Qualifi Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership and a MSc in Human Resource Management award from University of Gloucestershire.

On successful completion of stage 1 students receive the Level 7 Diploma award from which they leverage on to the dissertation phase of the MSc in Human Resource Management at the university delivered through a third party.
