MASTER OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (MBA) - ADVANCED ENTRY
Overview

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) qualification is to develop strategic management and leadership skills for managers who have the authority and personal attributes to translate organisational strategy into effective operational performance. This qualification reflects current practice in Strategic Management and Leadership and allows learners to develop and expand their high-level understanding of strategic management and leadership in the workplace. This qualification is suitable for mature learners with a background in academic study or industry. The qualification has a clear work-related emphasis on practical skills development alongside theoretical fundamentals.

Entry requirements​

A postgraduate qualification or extensive work experience in a relevant subject.
AND

A bachelor degree or HND or equivalent. Mature learners with extensive management experience may be exempted.

Learners must be 21 years or older at the beginning of the course

English requirements: If a learner is not from a majority English-speaking country must provide evidence of English language competency.

Duration and delivery
​
The qualification may be completed over a minimum period of 6 months using a blended learning approach. Students will typically complete in 9 months.

*The fee isreduced by £1200 if the applicant already holds the OTHM or Qualifi Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadesrhip.

Students who successfully complete this programme will receive a Qualifi Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership and a Master of Business Administration award from University of Gloucestershire.
On successful completion of stage 1 students receive the Level 7 Diploma award from which they leverage on to the dissertation phase of the MBA at the university delivered through a third party.
